Day One Recap. Bassmasters River Rumble Marshals

Today was an awesome day. It started bright and early, meeting our respective Pros around 5 a.m. There was a slight rain and most of the Elites were extremely pessimistic regarding today's fishing. Overall, it was a tough day for the field, with many not bringing a limit and even a handful not bringing any fish to the scales. The water looks like chocolate milk, if you can imagine, and most pros were either flipping or using baits that caused a lot of vibration.

Early in the morning, Guy and I were fishing around Kevin VanDam, Skeet Reese, and Bobby Lane. It was awesome to see them fishing so close. I will get more into Guy's presentations and locations after the tournament, as I don't want to relinquish any of his secrets. He was in the top 50 with 3 fish for just over 7 lbs. A good showing considering the conditions. Below I will list our Day 2 partners and some random photos from the day.

Thanks for visiting.

Carl Spande- Matt Reed

Tim Spande- Jason Quinn

Dan Norling- Denny Brauer

Time to hit the sack. Another early day tomorrow. We will all be Marshals again for the top 50 on Saturday, so stay tuned for tomorrow's update and our pairings for Saturday.

Thanks.
